South African trail from Kruger to Cape town via Garden Route
DAY 1: JOHANNESBURG
Upon arrival at Johannesburg international airport, you will transfer to your hotel. Free at leisure
DAYS 2 - 4: KARONGWE PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
After Breakfast at Johannesburg Hotel, you will transfer to the Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit. Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport (HDS) meet and greet by a representative of the lodge and transfer to the Karongwe River Lodge. Check in and if time permits enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Day 3 - Day 4
After an early morning wake-up call, rise to an African dawn and enjoy an early morning game drive in an open safari vehicle. Relax as the ranger guides you through the bush searching out the Big 5 and the smaller secrets of nature. Return to the lodge in the mid-morning for a typical South African breakfast. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure. In the late afternoon, when the heat of the African sun has diminished and the shadows are longer, set out again on an open safari vehicle game drive with your ranger. Return to the lodge for dinner and share your day’s adventures with your fellow travelers before settling down again for the evening.
DAY 5: Gqeberha
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Check out and transfer to Hoedspruit Airport. Upon arrival at Port Elizabeth Airport, you will be met by our representative at the Airport and will direct you to the Europcar office to collect your rental car. Drive to your hotel in Port Elizabeth Check-in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 6: Knysna
This morning start your journey along the Garden Route. Departure to Knysna. Overnight Hideaway Guest House.
DAY 7: Knysna
At leisure in Knysna.
DAY 8: Oudtshoorn
You will check out at 10:00 and self drive to Oudtshoorn. You will check in at La Plume Boutique Guest House.
DAYS 9 - 12: Cape Town
At leisure in Cape Town
DAY 13: End of Itinerary
Today, You will check out and self drive to Cape Town International Airport for your flight.
