All villas have views to the water, large bathrooms with deep tubs, rainfall showers, well-stocked minibars, king-size beds, Marshall speakers, and flat-screen TVs. The décor is simple but striking – timber and thatched roofs and neutral colours.There are 6 excellent restaurants, 5 of which are included within the premium all-inclusive package. There are 2 family-friendly buffets, Ranba and Ranlu, which provide lunch and dinner, with everything you can think of from east to west, from spicy curries to fresh sushi, pastas, pizzas, and burgers. For dinner, there’s the relaxed open-air beach grill Ginifatu where it’s all about fresh seafood and the catch of the day served with a range of salads and sides. On the fine-dining front, there’s Ambula, which takes on a Sri Lankan tasting menu, and Haathi, which seats just 10 guests and rotates between Bangkok and Japanese set menus and has a chef’s table vibe. Baani, the overwater Middle Eastern restaurant is available only to Ocean Suite guests (other guests can book a table at $100 per person). There are also 4 bars dotted around the island, including a sky bar, a poolside, and a rum bar.
