Journey through Cambodia & Thailand

DAY 1:   ARRIVE IN PHNOM PENH
Upon arrival at Phnom Penh airport. You will meet you tour guide and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, perhaps spent exploring Phnom Penh, a wonderful French colonial treasure-chest.

DAY 2:   PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR & MEKONG RIVER CRUISE
Start you tour of Phnom Penh with a visit to Phsar Thmey, an Art Deco landmark in the city centre that is home to a lively market. Here, you’ll learn more about everyday life in Cambodia as you wander through the labyrinth of stalls. Continue to the sobering Tuol Sleng Museum, which chronicles the brutal Pol Pot and Khmer Rouge years, to learn more about Cambodia’s troubled – but nonetheless, important – past.   This afternoon, the tour continues to the stupendous Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda – the latter named for the 5,000 silver tiles that cover its floor – followed by a visit to the National Museum. A visit to the infamous Choeng Ek, better known as the Killing Fields, completes a fascinating, and at times, difficult, tour. This evening, as the sun sets, sit back, relax and enjoy a cruise on the Mekong, as you take in the city’s sights from the water, perhaps with a cold beer in hand.

DAY 3:   TRAVEL TO BATTAMBANG
Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up at your hotel and depart for Battambang by overland transfer (290 km. 4-5 hrs drive). Stop at the Silversmith village, see the pottery manufactories in Kompong Chhnang and visit also a fish market. Arrive in Battambang, and check-in at the hotel.  Walk through the town to discover its beautiful colonial architecture and followed by central market of Battambang – Psanat. Wrap your day with a scenic Bamboo train ride experience in the countryside of Oudombong village with the local people. Overnight at hotel in Battambang.

DAY 4:   BATTAMBANG TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel: Drive along the picturesque Sangker River to Wat Slaket Pagoda, the residence of the provincial Buddhist patriarch Continue to visit Wat Ek Phnom. Visit a market where Prahoc, the Cambodian fish paste, is made. Afternoon, drive to Phnom Sampeou Mountain, steeped in legend, and topped by Wat Sampeou and a group of caves used as ‘killing caves’ by the Khmer Rouge, containing the skeletal remains of their victims. We’ll alsdo visit natural caves. Your visit will last until dusk – a time when millions of bats emerge from a cave and create patterns as they fly in tandem across the sky – a nightly spectacular show of nature. Return to Batrambang and Overnight

DAY 5:   BATTAM BANG – SIEMREAP & COOKING CLASS
Breakfast at the hotel  - Transfer to Siem Reap overland (driving takes around 3 hours. Upon arrival check in the hotel. In the afternoon, y0u will be transfer to enjoy cooking class at Chrive Village, then you your fresh cooked food for dinner. Overnight in Siem Reap

DAY 6:   TEMPLES OF ANGKOR
Today an undoubted highlight of the tour awaits. Spend an unforgettable day in the company of a knowledgeable guide, as you discover the astounding lost city of Angkor, the great Khmer citadel that once ruled half of South East Asia. Great ruins litter a vast area, the most awe-inspiring of which is Angkor Wat, with its five great towers and huge bas relief.  You’ll also visit the richly decorated temple at Bayon, and the wonderfully atmospheric Ta Prohm, where trees grow from the ruins beneath – shooting location for the Tomb Raider film! Enjoy Dinner with Apsara Show. Overnight in Siemreap

DAY 7:   SIEMREAP DEPARTURE (B) - CROSS RIVER KWAI
Enjoy a morning at leisure, before you transfer to Siemreap airport for flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival at Bangkok airport. You will meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel

DAY 7-10:   CROSS RIVER KWAI (B) - DUSIT THANI LAGUNA PHUKET
Cross River Kwai is on the banks of Kanchanaburi's River Kwai Noi. Kanchanaburi has a storied history with sites like the Death Railway, Hellfire Pass, and Prasat Muang Singh National Park with ancient ruins. Natural attractions include forests, mountains, waterfalls, caves, and the renowned Erawan National Park. Rest of the day's free for leisure at the hotel DAY 10:  CROSS RIVER KWAI DEPARTURE (B) - DUSIT THANI LAGUNA PHUKET Enjoy a morning at leisure, before you transfer to Bangkok airport for flight to Phuket. Upon arrival at Phuket airport. You will meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel

DAY 10-14:  DUSIT THANI LAGUNA PHUKET
