Day 4: Kuala Lumpur – Kota Kinabalu
After breakfast & hotel checkout, you will be met by your driver for your transfer to KLIA airport for your short flight to Kota Kinabalu.
Upon arrival you will be met by our Local representative for your transfer to your Hotel

Day 6: Kota Kinabalu – Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Spring day trip
Today you will have an early start – Pick up from the hotel lobby approx. 07:30. Malaysia’s first Unesco World Heritage Site is Kinabalu Park in Kundasang, about 90km from the city of Kota Kinabalu. Within this park, which spans more than 75,000ha, stands Borneo and Malaysia’s highest peak, the majestic Mt Kinabalu, visible on clear days from anywhere in the park. A wide range of habitat features here, from rich tropical lowland and hill rainforest to tropical mountain forest, sub-alpine forest and shrub on the higher elevations. The park has also been designated a Centre of Plant Diversity for Southeast Asia, as it is exceptionally rich in species with examples of flora from the Himalayas, China, Australia, Malaysia, as well as pan-tropical flora. Visitors come here to enjoy the cool mountain air and feast their eyes on breathtaking views of valleys and mountain range – it is truly a sight for sore eyes. A trip here is sure to refresh soul and spirit. The journey to National Park takes about 2 hours by road from Kota Kinabalu city. Along the way, you will pass local villages and panoramic views of hills and valleys. The drive will make a pit stop at Nabalu Village to savour a selection of succulent local fruits and shop for handicrafts. At Kinabalu Park, visitors will be taken on a guided tour, with a visit to the exhibition centre followed by the beautifully kept garden brimming with gorgeous blossoms. The nature walk is sure to work up an appetite, and lunch will be at a local restaurant before departing for Kota Kinabalu. Depart on another hour journey’s to Poring Hot Spring. Once arrive at Poring Hot Spring, trek to the Canopy walkway, from a 175m length suspended high above the forest floor. A 20 minutes hike is needed to reach the canopy walk. Visitor are also allowed to try a soothing sulphur bath in the Japanese-styled open air tubs. Dip in the all-natural mineral-rich hot spring water, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. Return to Kota Kinabalu late afternoon.

Day 7: Kota Kinabalu – Kinabatangan Wildlife Safari
This Morning you will have a early start – Approx 05:00 for your flight to Sandakan.
On arrival at Sandakan Airport, transfer to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. We proceed to watch a video show about the plight of the Orang Utans and the rehabilitation efforts ongoing at the Centre. Walk ten minutes through the rainforest on wooden boardwalks to witness the feeding of the orang utans at 1000hrs, and then we continue to the newly completed enclosed nursery area for young orang utans. Thereafter visit the Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre to learn about conservation of the world’s smallest bear. After lunch, transfer to Sandakan jetty for 2½ hours boat journey to the multi awards winning Sukau Rainforest Lodge along Sabah's longest river, Kinabatangan with opportunity to view birds and wildlife. Take a river cruise using electric motor in search of wildlife and birds. Enjoy candle light dinner overlooking the riverbank followed by slide presentation and interpretation by naturalist guide.

Day 8: Kinabatangan Wildlife Safari
Take a 0600hrs morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan River to Kelenanap oxbow lake to view more birds and wildlife. After breakfast, proceed for an educational tour along the lodge’s Hornbill Boardwalk with our in-house naturalist. After lunch, join our in house Orang Utan Talk activity. In the afternoon, we proceed for another river cruise for more wildlife.

Day 9: Kinabatangan - Danum Valley
After breakfast, at 09:00hrs take a short boat transfer to Lepid Jetty where a 4x4 vehicle awaits to transfer you to your next adventure Danumm Valley, Borneo Rainforest Lodge from Sukau River Lodge. Your adventure begins with a 4 ½ hrs drive to the Danum Valley conservation area. Enjoy the myriad landscapes of this million years old virgin rainforests along the way and have a chance to cross path with some wild life encounters. On arrival a representative of the Borneo Rainforest Lodge will meet and transfer you to Danum Valley. Check-in to the Borneo Rainforest Lodge and prepare yourself for an introduction to our nature activity for the day.

Day 10: Danum Valley
Wake up to the calls of the Bornean Gibbons and start your day with guided trekking to the "View Point" and "Coffin Cliff" (a Kadazan Dusun burial site). Take a short break by the Natural Jacuzzi pool for a refreshing dip before lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon optional activities: A Guided Jungle Trekking or if weather permits, Water Tubing session down the Danum River for an hour or at guest’s own leisure time. Guided Night Walk on the Nature Trail after dinner.

Day 11: Danum Valley
Trek up to “Fairy Falls” & “Serpent Falls” for a scenic view. Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon optional activities: Guided trekking along Segama River or at guest’s own leisure time.

Day 12: Danum Valley – Kota Kinabalu
Enjoy an early morning walk and a hefty breakfast before checking out after lunch. A vehicle will drive you trough lush forest to the airport for your onward flight to Kota Kinabalu. On arrival to Kota Kinabalu International Airport our representative will drive you to the Jesselton Point Jetty. You will be ushered to the Resort Lounge for registration. Your boat waits to sweep you off to your resort.
